Owen Lang Obituary

Lang, Owen F. Age 77, of Geneva, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Delnor Hospital in Geneva surrounded by his family. He was born August 26, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Owen and Carmilla (Fabbio) Lang. Owen worked many years for AT&T and was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 75 in Geneva. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He loved to travel to many parts of the world. He enjoyed trains and was an avid stamp and coin collector. His favorite pastime however, was spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. Owen is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Dolores; children, Michael (Laury) of Montgomery and Lisa of Geneva; grandchildren, Amber, Michael, and Christopher; dog, Benji; and many other dear relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Patricia Conigliaro. Funeral service for Owen will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva with Msgr. Stephen Knox officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Geneva. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home.
