Sorry I cannot be there for you. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Oscar and his brothers and sisters are very special to me. His family is a mirror of mine: 7 kids, including the male/female twins as the youngest of the family. Tio Amador was mom's baby brother and she loved him and his family very much. Even though we moved far apart, our moms kept in touch and so we always felt close.

I don't remember too many things, but I do remember when we lived in Texas and played together. I remember the times we met as we got older and will value those times. I also remember the kindness of his company during our loss of mom.

I do not know the pain of losing a son, a brother, a husband or father. But please let me know if I can do anything as I do know the pain of grief can sometimes be overwhelming.

Love you all.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
