Orel Parsons Memoriam

Parsons
Orel Adair "Preacher" Parsons Jr.
6/13/1957 - 7/1/2023
We remember Preacher on what would have been his 67th birthday.
Born in Xenia OH and raised in West Virginia, Preacher passed peacefully at his home last summer in Cleveland OH with his devoted longtime partner Melody Christianson, by his side.
He is greatly missed by his adoring family and friends, including Melody and son Andrew (Heather), son Christopher (Randa) and beloved grandson Dane, all of Cleveland; Sisters Sue Crawford (Ed) of Cross Lanes WV, Denise Anderson (Jerry) of Elkview WV, Sherri Mace (Richard) of Myrtle Beach SC along with his best friend of 40 years, Brian Peterson of Parma OH, and many more family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Orel Parsons Sr., cherished wife Theresa Parsons and uncle Mason Proctor.
We will never forget his incredible storytelling, the sound of his laughter or his love of trains and the railroad. He was a damn good guy who brought light to many lives, and our world is a little darker without him.
Interment of ashes and a celebration of life will take place this summer in Cleveland. Dates TBD.

Very sad to hear. Preacher was an old neighbor and a great father. Included my son in many adventures, camping in the backyard with his sons, going to WWF events, a very gentle person. My sympathies to Andrew and Chris. Fond memories. Liz Moro
