Olivia was born at St. Lawrence, KY. She graduated from Academy to Mt. St. Joseph, Maple Mount, KY and Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Nursing School. Olivia was a good tennis player, great fisherman and generous in her support of her family. She always had a daily song for everyone at The Forum but "Hey, Good looking" was her favorite. The Cassidy family wishes to express their gratitude for the many kindnesses and wonderful care that Olivia and Larry received during their years at The Forum.

Her body was bequeathed to the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Saturday, March 12, 2011.

When I grew up enough to understand where my name came from, I was very honored to have been named after my grandma "Olivia". When grandma and grandpa adopted my mom Linda and fostered my Aunt Joyce, and I was old enough to understand, I knew how wonderful grandma and grandpa truly were. No one will ever be more thankful than I to have had Grandma Olivia and Grandpa Larry, as my grandparents. They gave me a chance to learn, love and be God's follower. I missed going to have lunch with them at the Bonsi Store. I will always cherish those times together because it took me back to when I was little and use to watch grandpa work on his "little trees", as I called them. It was so neat to watch him. I will always have wonderful memories like that.......like going to the cabin. They use to tell Tammy and I that the Easter Bunny was going to come across the river on a boat to bring us some Easter Eggs. And they had me baptized at their church up the road from the cabin. Watching birds with grandpa and grandma, watching grandpa work in his wood shop. Also in Florida, when just grandpa and I went fishing in the swamps and an alligator came up to us beside the boat. He said "just be still and it will go away", and it did. All the Christmas' and Thanksgiving Dinner's when all of the "little ones" had to sit at the "little table", and going to their house for get together's in the summer and all children had to get out of the swimming pool so the adults could swim. I just loved listening to grandma sing at the Forum when I visited her after grandpa passed. She was so humble, happy and taught me so much. They will always be wonderful memories for me and I will always cherish them.

Aunt Maureen, Uncle Gary "my godparents", Aunt Eileen, Uncle Dominic, Molly, Emily, Linda "my mom", Tammy "my sister", Aunt Joyce, Carolyn, and Tim.....you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Grandma...... you are in heaven with grandpa now and I know you two are looking down on us smiling. You all touched so many people and did so much good. I love you, miss you and I will see you when I return to our heavenly father. Until then, I will continue to follow God's word, just like you taught me.

To Olivia's family: Olivia was such an inspiration to me and I was very saddened by her passing. Everyday I took care of her she would tell me "God Bless" before I left her room and she always had a smile on her face. I loved the spirit she had and how she would always go around the halls singing. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her!

To Olivia's family: I also have parents at the Forum. Olivia was my Dad's (Tom) lunch and dinner buddy. I really got to know her. I often have tennis clothes on when I visit and she told me she played tennis. She also told me she was a nurse and I know how she loved music! I spent much time with her at lunch, bingo and listening to music. She was very special and my family will miss her. As she always said to me, "too da lou." God Bless her and may she rest in peace.
