Oliver Plourde Obituary

Rockville CT-Oliver Plourde,78, of Grove St died Monday June 6, 2005 at the Hartford Hospital after a sudden illness

Born May 20, 1927 in Somersworth NH he was the son of the late Oliver and Alma (Dionne) Plourde.

Mr Plourde grew up in Barrington NH until moving to Rockville CT where has lived for the past 30 years. He was employed as a Truck Driver for Manchester Lumber until his retirement. He enjoyed going to McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts to visit with friends, collecting coins and feeding the ducks.

Members of his family include his Nephew, Samuel F. Plourde Jr. and his wife Dale of Rochester, a niece Patty Mickelonis a nephew Sam F. Plourde, grand nieces and nephews, a sister in-law, Mary Plourde of CT, he is predeceased by his brothers; Samuel and Joseph Plourde and a sister, Yvonne Plourde

Calling hours will be held Sunday June 12, 2005 from 6-8pm at the R.M. Edgerly & Son Funeral Home, 86 South Main St Rochester NH 03867.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 11am in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev Wayne Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Milton Mills Cemetery following the funeral.
