To the family of Olga Gooley,
I can't say enough about the impact that Olga has had on me as a person and as a new wife. We have shared so many stories and laughs together. Her patience, generosity, and genuine personality were just a few qualities that I admired so very much. I spent the afternoon at her church festival today and I know she was there in spirit. Her love of people and good food was everywhere! It just wont be the same without her.

To the family of Olga Gooley,
We are truly sorry for your loss. Olga was a beautiful person inside and out. Even though we only knew Olga for a short time, it was if we had been friends for a lifetime. She always shared a kind word to those she came in contact with. Her sweet smile had a calming effect on those around her even though she was not feeling up to par herself. Olga became a dear friend of ours at the Vestal Park Nursing Center...a dinner companion at meal time around our table. She recently won over the hearts of two little ones Taylor (5yrs) and Tanner (3yrs) inviting them to stop by her room for a good-bye dum dum lollipop. The children adored her as much as we did and knew that Olga was something special.
Friends are a gift from God
They bring us joy and happiness
And help us in times of need
That's why I can truly say
How glad I am I had this friend
May her sweet soul find rest until we all meet again. She will be dearly missed by all of us.

Olga was an amazing person...I was an aide at vestal and frequently had her as a resident. She always made me feel so happy and had nothing but nice things to say about everyone and everything in life. She always had a back for trying to feed us aides and making us laugh. Rest in peace bestfriend you'll always have a place in my heart...

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Gooley. I haven't seen her for many years, but I still have very vivid and fond memories as her student in religion classes. She was a wonderful lady!
