Johnsen, Olav 91, beloved husband of 60 years to Joyce (nee Bjerke), loving father of Harold Johnsen and Nancy (Les) Herak, cherished grandfather of Lars, Nicole and Andreas Johnsen, Michael, Jonathan and Jennifer Herak, dear brother of Berjliot (Claus) Schanche and the late Camilla (Lars) Lunde, Margith (Andreas) Davoy and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service Saturday, Lying-in-state 9 a.m. until time of service 10 a.m., at Messina Lutheran Church, 1605 Vernon Ave., Park Ridge. Interment Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 4 to 8 p.m., at Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations to Messina Lutheran Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated. For info: 773-774-3232
