I miss you so, Mom. You and I were always best friends. I'm
Really lost without you! Not a day goes by that I do not think about you and wish you were here with me. You were always the best mom a girl could have and I have tried to follow in your footsteps with my girls. You were the best and are so very deeply missed. The last five months that we spent together were wonderful and I wished it could have been longer. I knew you were ready to go but I did not want to let you go. I love you so much and was so lucky that you are my mom. Rest in peace my sweet mommy.

Mrs. Swafford was my first grade teacher at Bonnie Brae Elementary. She was the best teacher ever! She truly loved each of her students and we all knew it! She was the kind of teacher that every parent prays their child will have. I loved school because of her. Anytime I am asked who my favorite teacher was my quick response is always Mrs. Swafford. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that her gentle and caring ways touched SO many and she will be remembered in our hearts forever!

I don't think a day has ever ended that i haven't thought about her or told someone what a wonderful teacher she was. And making the butter. My heart breaks as I read of this news.
Mrs. Swafford was my 1st grade teacher at Bonnie Brae Elementary. 1969
She was the most kind, compassionate and truly caring teacher I have ever had.
What an impact she made in my life. As a young 1st grader I was very sick and spent time in the hospital. Mrs. Swafford took the time to come visit me on multiple occasions bringing my work I had missed to me so I wouldn't get behind.
I could write a book on how Mrs.Swafford touched so many lives.
Throughout the years I would run into her in the grocery store and she would remember me and we would share our memories of my 1st grade class.
I Thank God for placing her in my life.I will forever treasure all she taught me, and will always remember her gentle spirit, sweet smile, calming voice and the genuine love and care she so graciously gave her students along with those hugs.
Go rest my "Favorite Teacher".
This world is a better place because of you.
