Cherie, Mel, Erwin,Craig and Laura, I was deeply saddened by learnnig of Normie's passing and embarrassed to find out after the fact because I certainly would have been at his funeral. He was my favorite first cousin once-removed (as Frieda was my favorite great-aunt)and for years at the Mulitplex we had so much fun telling stories about "the extended family - Normies' especially" I learned alot from him. I saw him last at Connie Pagano's some months ago. Even in his debilitated condition, it was a pleasure to see him. Even then he had something witty to say about the family. I kissed his head while he was in Connie's chair. I'll miss him.

We were saddened to learn of Norm's passing and want to extend our sincere sympathies to the Goldman family. We knew Norm from Multiplex and then Highland Park Hospital Health and Fitness. What always shone through was his friendliness and how proud he was of his wife and family. He was a good man and may he rest in peace.

Irwin,

I'm sorry to hear about the passing away of your father. I want you to know that I am forever in your debt for helping me get through my prostate cancer surgery. I am now 2 1/2 years cancer free and you will be pleased to know that I have paid it forward several fold by helping a number of other men with prostate cancer get through their treatment. I know how much your father meant to you and how difficult this time must be for you and your family. My prayers are with you.

Irwin, My sincerest sympathy to you and your wonderful family. IT's tough to read about another Humbolt Park-er and Rough Rider. Getting a sitter for Paula at such short notice is difficult, but my prayers are with you.

It was with regret that I saw Norms obituary in todays paper. Although Norm and I were not friends, we did go to high school together. I'll always remember Norm as a good guy as well as an exceptional athelete.

Irwin,

I was sorry to see your father's obituary. Although we haven't maintained an active friendship in recent years I have many happy memories since we first met in Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1948 or 1949 and shared happy times together since. As stated in the obit, "Norman will be dearly missed by his family and friends." You can include me on that list. Please convey my condolences to your mother and the rest of the family.
