To the family of Noreen Sullivan:
I was a second and third grade teacher at Albert Einstein School and your mother was the kindest, caring, and nicest lady I have ever met. Not only did she run the school efficiently (the secretary is the most important person in the school),
but she never said no to anything that you asked of her and was happy to help in any way whether it was communication with a parent or another colleague, the principal or just lending a listening ear even if it was about a personal problem. She possessed a great sense of humor and always had a smile. When I read that she had passed, I felt such a sadness. I have not been in touch with many of my former colleagues, but I do know that we all loved Noreen. Please accept my deepest condolences on her passing. I will always remember her with fondness. I was in my twenties when I was teaching and am now 57. She always talked about her family with such love and pride. I know that you will miss her dearly. I will always remember her kindnesses and what a special person she was.

Mom,
I thought I was handling your death pretty well until I walked through your home last night after having dinner with dad. In my heart I am so happy for you because you have a personal relationship with our Lord and are in heaven with Him right now. I am happy that you are no longer in pain and that you did not suffer as much as you could have. However, seeing your empty chair, the empty bed, the chair you sat in 2 weeks ago when we played cards was overwhelming. I miss you so much and am saddened that I will never hear your voice again or see your smile other than in my head. Please rest in peace with the knowledge that we will take care of dad and encourage him to develop a relationship with Jesus so that dad will be with you in Heaven when his time comes.
Thank you for all the wonderful memories. You have helped me become the man I am today. Your way of caring for others and putting others always before yourself is something that I am going to continue to strive to do. You are a great role model for me and I love you very much.
One of your biggest wishes was for your boys to be happy. Please know that Teresa and I are going to live happily ever after and that I am going to continue to do my best to be a great parent to Katie, Greg, Laura and Leigh, just like you were to me.
I love you mom. Rest in peace and I will see you later. As you would often say, "Bye, now!"
Love,
Bob (Your 48 year old "baby")
