Noreen Hedderman Obituary
nee Twomey, age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Sean Hedderman, and the proud and loving mom of two sons, John and Denis. Noreen was born in Kilgarvan, County Kerry, Ireland to Jeremiah and Margaret Twomey; dear sister of Margaret (Patrick) Healy, Patrick (Mary Agnes), Julia (John) Naughton, Michael, John (Margaret), Jeremiah (Mary), Timothy (Rose), Hugh (Celia), Ellen (Joseph) McGoldrick, and Daniel (Breda). Noreen was the aunt of numerous nieces and nephews in the United States, England and Ireland. She was a longtime resident of the Southwest side of Chicago. Known as an excellent baker (her scones were legendary) and known as a true and loyal friend, she will be dearly missed. Lying-in-Repose beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8th at St. Symphorosa Catholic Church, 6137 S Austin. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, St. Joseph Shrine, Lot 840, Northeast Grave. When Noreen was unable to attend church she would watch Sunday mass on TV from Mercy Home. Therefore, in lieu of flowers a donation to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 West Jackson Blvd. Chicago, ILL 60607 or The Poor Clare Sisters, 12210 South Will Cook Road, Palos Park, IL 60464 would be appreciated. Our sincere condolences to John, Denis and their families. We have fond memories of our sweet cousin, who was always interested in news our family, especially our brother James. We are children and granddaughter of Mary Rita Scanlan Considine Holt. Jim and I attended Noreen and Sean's wedding with Rita and our grandparents Mary and Pat Considine. In recent years we have seen Noreen at funerals, and not so long ago at Irish Fest in Milwaukee, where she would share her sharp memories.
