Norbert Mueller Obituary

Mueller, Norbert age 73, of Wildwood, passed away February 6, 2008, at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. He worked at the Drake Hotel in Chicago for over 40 years. Norbert was born on March 15, 1934 in Germany to William and Gertrude Mueller. Survivors include one daughter, Susan (Kevin) Sperling; one son, Ronald Mueller; two grandchildren Krista and Brandon Sperling; his former wife, Mimi (Ed) Kalanke; two brothers, Helmut (Renate) Mueller and Wolfgang (Erika) Mueller; and many nieces and nephews. His aforementioned parents, a sister, Christa (Werner) and a brother, Gerhard, preceded him in death. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, 410 East Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 30 North Michigan Ave., #2015, Chicago, IL 60602.
