Norbert Florek Obituary
Norbert Anthony Florek, age 82, of Naples Florida, passed away peacefully at home on February 20, 2022. He was the beloved husband to Rose (Piraino) for 61 years and the devoted father to his children Laura (Joseph) Steger of Los Gatos, California, Anthony (Suzanne) Florek of Western Springs, Illinois, and Peter (Laura) Florek of Northbrook, Illinois. He was the adored "Papa" to Alyssa, Matthew and Eric Steger, Nicholas (Noa), Maxwell (Joan), and Jackson Florek, and Adam and Rachel Florek. Visitation services Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 9:15-10:00 a.m at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1775 Grove Street, Glenview, Illinois 60025. Funeral Mass following at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Norb's name (Norbert A. Rose, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Norb. I was privileged to have worked with Norb when he served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for many years at Haverford. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. My heart goes out to you and the whole family with deepest sympathy.

My most sincere and deepest condolences to Norb´s family. . I always considered myself lucky to have been part of his Allstate organization a couple of different times. . He was a great corporate financial leader. . RIP.

Rose, when I was a lawyer at Allstate Norb was one of my favorite clients. He didn´t always like my advice but he followed it . He was not, however, as impressed with my basketball skills. We met you at several of the officer gatherings. We are sorry to hear of his passing but remember him fondly. We wish we had known you were living in Naples.
