Hohner, Nora Gavaris (nee Marrott), beloved wife of the late Anthony William Hohner and the late Dr. George P. Gavaris, loving mother of James M. (Monica) Hohner and Dr. Marcia A. Basciano, proud grandmother of Martin and Rachel Hohner and Grace Basciano, dear sister of the late John (Carol), Thomas (Florence), George (Kiki), and James Marrott, loving niece of the late Aphrodite Petaros, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Nora was a long time employee of Quaker Oats and member of St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church. Visitation Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at SMITH-CORCORAN Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Family and friends will meet Saturday morning at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 W. Winona St., Chicago for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Hellenic Museum, Attn: Director of Development, 801 W. Adams St., Ste. 400, Chicago, IL 60607, would be appreciated. Arrangements by JOHN G.
