Noelle Langowski Obituary

Sr. Noelle Langowski, SSJ-TOSF 100 years of age, quietly slipped away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006, in Francis Hall of Immaculata Congregational Home, Bartlett, IL. Just a month ago she had celebrated her 100th Birthday with members of her religious community, the Sisters of St. Joseph, Third Order of St. Francis with whom she had spent 82 years of her life. Sister was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Anna (Przybylska) and her siblings, Edward, Louis Charles, Stanley, Clement and Sister Florian, SSJ. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Sister taught in the Archdiocese of Chicago (1923-41); in the Archdiocese of Denver (1941-48) and she provided supportive services to the Sisters in various convents in Illinois. When Immaculata Convent was built she was one of the first residents of the convent until her death in Bartlett, IL. Friends will be received at 9 a.m., on May 20, 2006 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., in the Sacred Heart Chapel of Immaculata Convent, 801 W. Bartlett Rd., Bartlett, IL (½ mile E. of Rt. 59 & West Bartlett Rd.). Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL. Memorials may be sent to SSJ-TOSF Development Fund, Box 388129, Chicago, IL 60638-8129. Services arranged by the Countryside Funeral Home, Bartlett, IL. 630-289-7575.
