Dear Grandma,
I miss you dearly, and I hope that you are waltzing with Grandpa Lonnie and my Dad. I know you are more happy now, and have been freed from the confusion and haze you were in. God Bless You, I LOVE you, and I will forever miss you. Until we meet again...Love Ya, Your Granddaughter...

I met Louise in 2000, in the cool mountains in Ruidoso. I loved meeting Zilla and Ruth. We all had a good time. I was able to bring the following year some of their cousins from Mary Bonine Walker's side. I introduced my greatgrandma's neices and nephews and some of her kids to their cousins. I will greatly miss her.

The time comes in every life when that veil we have to cross. It's the end of pain, of strife and of illness. Such is the way that Louise has gone, to be with the ancestors. Rest well.

Dearest Grandma,
I love you with all of my heart. I miss you lots but I also am glad that you are not suffering and or in pain anymore. Have fun up there with Jerry, and my GrandDaddy Burnam and your Daddy and Mom and siblings and cousins and Aunt Edna and Uncle Earl Henry. Have a dance or few for me with my Dunkle Yerry. Love you always and forever

Mom,
I want to thank you for all the special things you’ve done and for being my Mom.
I remember so many special times. Do you remember when Lonnie was only 3 months and we came to Midvale to visit you there? You tried to help me get her to take a bottle. She fought you unmercifully and you were in tears because you hated making her cry.
You worked so hard for our family. I was so proud of you and loved going by the Post Office to see you after swimming.
You were such a wonderful seamstress. You made Charlotte one of the most beautiful brides’ dresses I’ve ever seen. I loved the cute little dresses you made Aislon and her baby dolls. They were a matched pair.
You were such a wonderful cook too. I remember going with you to the orchards to pick cherries for some wonderful cherry pies. My most favourite pie was your lemon meringue. I still can’t find anyone who can make it as delicious as you did. I loved your green corn tamales, too. It didn’t matter what you made or from what nationality or culture, you always mastered the recipe.
I also remember going to California to visit you and Denard. Remember the time you and I took Traci, Marti and Lonnie to San Diego, Sea World, Wild Animal Park and the beach? I remember we were crossing the street. I was holding Aislon, tripped and rolled holding her. You were so worried I’d really hurt myself and Lonnie. But we all had a real laugh afterwards.
I also remember the time we were at all the different Knights of Pythias dinners, especially the time I was running around with the other kids and ran smack dab into the corner of the door jam. OUCH.
One time was when I had first moved into my childhood home in Hayden as a new bride. When Mom and Denard visited, I showed her how we’d arranged the home. When I came to the master bedroom after showing Mom my old bedroom, which was turned into our workroom, Mom then said about the master bedroom, “And this is your ‘other workroom’!” :D
All the church potlucks were really fun times, too.
You also took love in keeping your family and home safe and finished. Every Saturday was cleaning day and in between if necessary. Everything had to be just so, or we’d have to do it all over.
Enjoy your family reunion in the sky, and please give everyone hugs from us. We are so fortunate to have known you and are blessed to have been a part of your life.
I will always love you…..
