My deepest sympathy to all of Nix's family. May God give you peace and comfort in knowing that she is with our heavenly Father.

One life touched so many..One heart reached out in countless ways.. Sometimes we misunderstood her.. I think she sometimes liked it that way. I don't want to think of her as gone, only that her journey has just begun. Life holds many facets-this earth is only one.

In the hearts of those she touched-nothing loved is ever lost. Her shining light and kindness are missed by those who Nix's life has touched. We will miss you Nix.

Dear George, My name is Marlene. I went to college with Nijole (Nix). We studied to be teachers together at UIC. I am so sorry to read about her passing today. Nijole was my only friend from college and I would think about her often. I am so sorry that I did not talk to her more often. She would always remember me with a Christmas card. My thoughts and condolences go out to your family. Marlene Winn
