Nicholas Savaiano Obituary

Savaiano, Nicholas Joseph left this earthly world on Sunday, February 1, with his family by his side. He was 71 years old and died from a brain hemorrhage. He was President and Founder of United Laboratories of St. Charles, IL and ULI International of Duncan, OK. With his wife, Maureen, by his side, their lives flourished and prospered. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary January 30, 2004. He was a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, IA and served as an officer in the U.S. Navy. But his lasting legacy will be the overwhelming love, joy and passion for life that he shared with everyone he met. Of all he had done in his 71 years, he was most proud of his family. We know he will be here to guide us through these difficult years ahead. He is survived by his wife, Maureen (nee O'Malley) Savaiano of Lake Geneva, WI and Chicago, IL, his four daughters, Susan Cattey of Mequon, WI, Sharon Schink of Madison, WI., Julie Borsellino of Oak Brook, IL and Jamie Maloney of Hinsdale, IL; his sons-in-law, Julian Schink, Lewis Borsellino and Pat Maloney; his 17 grandchildren, Perry, Nicole, Maureen, Jamie, Matt, Jon, Nicholas, Christopher, Emily, Jack, Peter, Briana, Jordan, Jimmy, Joey, Patrick and Michael; his mother, Florence Savaiano of Lombard, IL; his sister and brother-in-law, Arlene and Bob DiFino of Lombard, IL; his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Pat Savaiano of St. Charles, IL. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. at the Elliston Funeral Home, First and Grant St., Hinsdale, IL., 60521. Friends will meet at St. Isaac Jogues Church, Fourth and Clay Sts., Hinsdale, Wednesday for 10 a.m. Funeral Mass. Interment Bronswood Cemetery, Oak Brook. Memorials appreciated to Marillac House, 212 S. Francisco, Chicago, IL., 60612, or Mayslake Ministries, 760 Pasquinelli, Suite 304, Westmont, Il., 60559. 630-323-0275 or www.ellistonfuneralhome.com
