Kushta, Nicholas P. age 81, WWII Army Veteran, loving brother of the late Olga (John) Klimick, late William (Mary) Kushta, late Nikolai and the late Vera Kushta, dear uncle of Carol (Daniel) Cyganowski, John Klimick, Susan Kushta, late Jean (Zeno) Pereira and the late Willliam (Mary Ann) Kushta, fond great and great-great uncle of many. Funeral 9:00 a.m. Tuesday from Fortuna Funeral Home, 4401 S. Kedzie Ave., to St. George Russian Orthodox Cathedral for 10:00 Mass. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. George Cathedral would be appreciated. Retired Principal with the Chicago Public Schools. I had the pleasure to work as the Physical Education Teacher at the Ruggles Elementary School when Nick was the Principal. I learned a lot from him during my years there (1981 - 1989) and will always keep my fond memories of him.

We have many happy memories of the times we spent with Nick in London on the Victory Gardens tours and visiting with him on Opening Nights at the theater. We will miss him. Our deepest sympathy to you in your time of loss.
