Fitzgerald, Nicholas born 82 years ago, in Ballyroe, Ballydavid, Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland. Survived by his loving wife, Maureen (nee Ryan), his children, Jack (Linda), Theresa (Jim) Segredo, Nick (Lynn), Jim (Judi) and Anne Marie, loving grandfather of Kelly, Mary Kate, Jimmy, Maggie, Michael, John, Brian, Kristina, Christopher, Bryan, Elizabeth, Bridget and Alyssa. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick Fitzgerald and Catherine (nee Griffin), fond brother of Kathleen McGovern of Ennis, County Clare, brother of the late James, Bridie Kennedy, Mary Cregan, Patrick, John, Thomas, Brendan, Michael, Maurice, Jeremiah, Tadhg, Eileen Begley and Dennis, brother-in-law of Jack and Mick of Ireland, Joe of England, Gerard of Boston and the late Frank Ryan. Visitation Wednesday, from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday, 8:45 a.m., from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st St., Orland Park, to St. Michael Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Retired Cook County Engineer and member of Operating Engineers Local #399. He was also a life member of Laborers Local #4 and a life-long member of the Pioneers. He was blessed with a very Keen Irish Wit and enjoyed the "Craic" Immensely.
