MRS. CARUSO AND FAMILY: IT'S NOT EASY TO PUT INTO WORDS THE SORROW A PERSON FEELS FROM THE ABSENCE OF A LOVED ONE WHO'S PASSED ON INTO THE HANDS OF GOD. NICK WAS A GREAT MAN, ALWAYS FROM THE HEART, YOU COULD FEEL THE SINCERITY WHEN HE SPOKE. HE WASN'T ONLY LIKED BY THOSE WHO KNEW HIM, BUT LOVED.WE HAD SOME GREAT TIMES WITH JILLY, DINNERS, ALOT OF LAUGHS, HE WAS THE BEST. I KNOW HE LOVED THE LORD, SO HE'S IN THE GRACE OF GOD. WE'LL ALL BE TOGETHER SOON ENOUGH. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. JOSEPH F. PRIVITERA

My love, prayers and sincere condolences on Nick's untimely passing. He will truly be missed by all who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing him. He celebrated life to the fullest -- his genuine wit, personable charm and strong, loyal values defined him. He will always be remembered lovingly as having done it "his way" and Heaven is now a much more glorious place. May a multitude of God's blessings, loving friends and lasting memories comfort you.

Dear Caruso Family,
Word travels fast amongst the St. Ignatius High School Class of '54 when we lose one of our own.
The Jesuits roughed us up alot back then so we drew closer together to survive and graduate.
Being of Italian descent myself added to my personal bond with Nick. We will remember him as a "good guy" that always needed a shave. You all have my sincerest sympathy.

Nick Jr. and family I am deeply saddened by the loss of Nick Sr. I only had the pleasure of meeting him on a few occasions but from stories told by mutual friends I learned of what an honorable, genuine man he was. I know he will be missed by many but also welcomed by many to that Big Piano Bar in the sky. Rest in peace Mr. Caruso
