After working for Nick at H&R in the late 70´s early 80´s, I thought of him many times wondering how he was doing. Tonight I found this online and am saddened he has left us. He was a wonderful man, fun, funny, great to work with and I hold many good memories of all of the people I worked with there. Rest In Peace, Nick. I´ll always remember you as being one of the best bosses I´ve every work for. We had a good family at H&R. Love, Nancy

Mr. Bilandic was a frequent visitor to the city of Evanston's engineering dept. He'd stop by on the way to or from his parking or other committee meeting. He was always interested in the latest developments in CAD, data communication, and professional matters. His visits were so pleasurable. He was featured on WBEZ's Curious City as an expert on those mysterious ComEd buildings in Chicago. Thank you, Mr. Bilandic for your friendship to the city and me.

Nick was a wonderful person. Smart ,sociable and a good tennis player. Enjoyed many post tennis gatherings, the friendship and song, with Nick and others from the McKinley Park Tennis Club at Congressman Fary's Saloon. I cherish the memories as I'm certain others also do.
