Nellie SCHANBACHER Obituary

SCHANBACHER, Nellie P.

Age 99 of Horseheads, NY passed away on Monday October 29, 2012. She was born on November 11, 1912 in Mt. Morris, NY the daughter of the late George and Mae Foose Pierce. Nellie was an Inspector for Eclipse Corporation in Elmira Heights, NY. She was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church for several years. Mrs. Schanbacher was predeceased by her loving husband Daniel W. Schanbacher on March 21, 2001. She is survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ruth Batley of Elmira, NY and Nola and Frank Eiser of Huntsville, AL; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends including special nephew and niece William and Marlene Schanbacher of Lockwood, NY. It was Nellie's wish that her services be private. Nellie will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Daniel in Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, NY. Arrangements entrusted to the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME INC. 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY 14845.

Nellie will be missed!! I enjoyed spending time with Nellie while I worked at the Courtyards at Bethany Village. Nellie was a strong woman that never compained about the hurdles in her life. Nellie is in heaven with her wonderful husband, whom she loved dearly!!! God Bless you Nellie!!! amen

Aunt Nellie did not make it to her 100 birthday but she did make it to join Uncle Danny on their 69th wedding anniversary Oct.31st,. GOD bless and keep their souls.
