Nellie Argo Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Nellie "Nell" Cross Argo, age 90, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2005. She owned Palms Restaurant in Mableton for 35 years, and was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Marion Argo. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Ferguson Duncan and Marie Walker, both of Mableton; one sister, Louise "Jackie" Godfrey of Douglasville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Her funeral will be 3 pm Sunday at White Columns Chapel in Mableton with Rev. Eddie Barton and Elder Sarah Luke officiating. Interment will be in Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens.
