Nelle Chinn Obituary

Nelle Lorraine Chinn, age 89, passed away February 7, 2004 in Edmond, Oklahoma. She was born March 1, 1914 in Flagler, Colorado. Nelle was a waitress for many years, before owning a small café in a drugstore in Nicoma Park. She was a longtime member of The Nicoma Park First Baptist Church. They lived in Choctaw for 35 years before moving to Edmond three years ago. She loved to cook and spend time gardening. She was married December 25, 1935 to Carl C. Chinn. Nelle was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Cay Carol Chinn; 2 sisters, Anna Jackson and Ruth Mitchell; and 1 brother, Cecil Jackson. Survivors include her husband, Carl C. Chinn; son, John C. Chinn and wife Sally; 3 sisters, Helen, Dorothy, and Margaret; and one grandson, Jonathan Scott Chinn. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Nicoma Park First Baptist Church with burial at Memory Lane Cemetery in Harrah, Oklahoma. Baggerley Funeral Home 930 S.
