I met Neil in 1990 and we became friends and then best friends and then something like brothers. I cherished him for his intellegence and wit and especially his warmth and through all the years the thing that made me happy was to hear Neil's exuberant laugh. I love him dearly and I believe he is at peace. Thanks for everything, Neil.

My sincere condolences to Neil's family and friends at his passing. Although I only met Neil once or twice through my son Baird Figi I knew him to be a good and gentle person. I know he will be missed.
