Natalie Bell Ellerton passed away October 23, 2008. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, on March 14, 1919, and had resided with her husband, John, in Clarence, NY, since 1967. Natalie was graduated from Albany (NY) High School and Albany Business College, and then employed by the State Bank of Albany, where she met her husband. Previously living in Utica, NY, Natalie was President of Women of Rotary and worked with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. She also founded Natalie's Boutique, a wholesale supplier of gifts and decorative accessories. Natalie enjoyed summers with her family at the Thousand Islands. During the remainder of the year, she traveled and wintered in Florida. Natalie also enjoyed curling, gardening, church affiliation, crafting and creative endeavors, antiques, skating and membership in women's groups, including Christian Women and Clarence Contemporary Club. She leaves her husband of 62 years, John Ellerton; daughter, Susan Ellerton (Daniel Baney), of Tonawanda, her son, James, and stepsons, Daniel, Jr., and Anthony; son, John R. (Pamela), of Manlius, their sons, Andrew and Jeffrey (Ann), and grandaughter, Kaleigh. As a final gift, Natalie donated her body to the University of Buffalo Medical School. A memorial service will be held at the DeWitt (NY) Community Church on November 8 at 11 AM. Those wishing may send contributions to Freedom Village, 5275 Rt. 14, Lakemont, NY 14857, or a charity of their choice.
