Dear Mark,
John and I are so sad about Nancy's passing. Our prayers are with you, Collin and family.
I had not seen Nancy at treatment and last talked with her at Christmas when she told me her count was not coming down. Never did I think that she was not going to make a turn around. I thought she would continue to have chronic cancer.
I will miss her.In peace and love.

Dear Mark,
I said before I wish there were a magic word to ease the pain your feeling, of course no such word exists. Please find some comfort in your many friends who I know surround u now. I wish I could be there for you, but unfortunatly I cant. My deepest sympathy to you and your son, my prayers as well.
All my love, don

To Mark & Collin,
My family moved into a house 5 houses down from Nancy's family's house in 1960. We soon became best friends and there wasn't anything we did not do together. Not a day passed that we weren't at each others house, playing, hanging out, spending the night at each others houses, etc. Her Mom often took Nancy, Judy, my Mother and myself to Rainbow Beach. We went to each others relatives houses. Nancy had bad asthma and until her parents got Jacques the poodle, we shared my dog and pretended he belonged to her too. I remember when the Beatles first came to America and were on the Ed Sullivan show, of course we were together at Nancy's house watching them. This sisterhood continued for many, many years, through both of our boyfriends, my engagement party and Nancy's first car that we cleaned together constantly and thought we were really somebody driving to school and not taking the bus. Somehow we lost sight of each other a short time after having my daughter, but I would see her parents often and heard all about her. When I would take my kids trick or treating by Nancy Parents house they would show me pictures of Collin and they were so excited about him and loved him so much. They often told me how much he was the apple of Nancy's eye.
We only spoke on the phone a few times throught the years and then about 4 or 5 years ago connected again through e-mails and Christmas cards. We were always going to get together for dinner or something, but it never seemed to work out. I am so very happy that we at least spoke by e-mail. The last time I saw Nancy was at her Mom's wake and the last time she e mailed me was the end of January and said she was going through her medical issues and hopefully would be feeling better in a few weeks. I didn't hear from her after that. I sent her a ceramic friendship angel with a locket and put our pictures from high school in it. I don't know if she was able to know I sent it or if she was too sick. I Love you like a sister Nancy and ALWAYS will.
Mark and Collin you were both blessed with a special person. She will always be an angel looking out for both of you.
You are also in my husband Micks thoughts and prayers. He knew Nancy for many years as well.

Dear Mark & Collin,
I happened to read the death notice this morning and realized that it was Nancy, a patient in Dr. Coffey's office. I just wanted to tell you how truly sorry I am for your loss. I only knew Nancy from her visits to our office, but she was one of the kindest people that I've ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
My deepest sympathy,

Mark and Collin,
Everyone who had the opportunity to have know Nancy and had her in their lives are lucky. I remember one of the best times we had in Acapulco, with Jackie and my cousin, and visiting the kids at Casa Hogar del Nino. She was a very giving person who had touched so many lives, we will truly miss her, but her spirit will live on in our memories forever.
