Nancy J. Nowak, nee Krause, devoted R.N. for over 30 years. Beloved wife of Richard Nowak. Loving mother of Jack and the late Natalie Nowak. Cherished daughter of the late Bernard and late Ella (nee Drews) Krause. Dear sister of Katie Buick, the late Ken and the late Don Krause. Fond Sister-in-Law to many. Kind Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday March 30, 2021 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of prayers at 11 AM. Mass 11:30 AM at St. Faustina Kowalska Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Due to COVID restriction, 50 people are allowed in the funeral home at one time. Everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing. No food or beverages are permitted. Nancy was such a nice person. Always worried about everyone else and no time to worry about herself. She was a Great nurse and co-worker at OBGYN S.W. She will truly be missed by The Dr’s she worked for and all her co-workers. Heaven gained a Beautiful Angel. Rest In Peace Nancy.

My beautiful Aunt Nan,
Thank you for being such a big part of my life growing up. I was honored to have you as my confirmation sponsor, guiding me to God. You played such a big role in my childhood. I’ll never forget it.
Together, we made such happy memories throughout the years—looking for deals at craft shows, sharing laughs under the Christmas tree (as we opened our crazy $1 and $5 grab bags), swimming in Grandma Ella’s pool (which was always a special treat in the summer), making pizzas from scratch on Christmas Eve, and going to BINGO on Sunday nights.
Aunt Nan, I will always remember your sense of humor, your yummy cheesy potatoes, your smile, and your calming presence. We’re all saddened but knowing how happy you must be to see your little girl once again makes it all just a little easier to bear.
I send my love to you, Aunt Nan.
