Hi Mom, we enjoyed celebrating your b-day yesterday the best we could. There were some sad moments, like usual, but we watched some of the dancing videos, along with a few of the anniv party tapes. We all miss you so much, but I'm very thankful that you are not in pain anymore. I will always love you with all my heart.
Your baby, John

John,
My deepest condolences to you & family. Nancy's parting will be sorely felt. When I heard the news,I recalled her (& your)help with the barn dances at Chicago Comhaltas. You could sense her joy in the dance & her desire to share it with us.Her warmth & friendliness always brightened the occasion.
There may be an empty place in the set and an open seat at the session but she'll be there in spirit and in our fond memories. Take Care, John.

Nancy is with the Angels; we will surely miss her kindness and her gentle leadership at the dances.

Please accept my condolances on the passing of Nancy. I regret that I could not express my sympathy in person, but we are visiting with one of our children who live out of state. May God be with you and your family.

My condolences to the Carmody family. I will fondly remember Nancy's joy in the dance, and her cheerful helpfulness when I was a beginner with the Francis O'Neill Club.

Dear John,
We will miss dancing with Nancy. She always had a smile and a warm hello for us, and you and she were a beautiful couple to watch, John.
Leo Buscaglia wrote: Ancient Egyptians believed that upon death they would be asked two questions and their answers would determine whether they could continue their journey in the afterlife. The first question was, "Did you bring joy?" The second was, "Did you find joy?"
It was obvious even from knowing her at the dances that she both brought and found joy, so we know she has a special place in Heaven.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Uncle Johnny and Carmody Clan,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all right now. Aunt Nancy was such a wonderful woman. I loved hearing her laugh with Nana! We wish we were home to be with you but we'll be thinking of you.
Love to you all.
