Myrtle Cato Obituary

Myrtle F. Cato, age 91, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, March 7, 2004. She was born on August 16, 1912 in Acklin Gap, AR, a member of Sunset Lane Baptist Church and retired from Wal-Mart at the age of 82.

Preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Cato; parents, Jessie and Hattie Hughes; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include a sister, Gladola Young of Pine Bluff; children; Oleta Duncan and her husband Ray of Little Rock, Harrel Cato and his wife Judy of Rogers, Reba Watts and her husband Doyle “Sonny” of Bryant; seven grandchildren, Diane Cwenar, Lloyd Duncan, Gene Duncan, Randy Watts, Tracye Forthmon, Brian Watts and Regina Donnell; eleven great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at Needs Creek Baptist Church with Brother Harrell Cato officiating. Burial will follow at Needs Creek Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. this evening (Tuesday) at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Highway 5 North, Alexander, 455.1067.
