With all my love -- I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Smith for sometime at his accounting firm and it was great. I will miss you dearly. Remember me as the one who took you to purchase the new computers in the office.

Love ya always,

Hi Nancy: I'm sure you don't remember me but I met you at one of Pearl's fab dinner parties many years ago.I was a co-worker of L.Pearl Wright (aka "Lille Pearl" which she hated) for many years at Chicago State University. She was the accountant and I was the secretary in the Athletic Department. She was a pistol but really a wonderful person. I still remember and use some of her advice today - both work related as well as personal. I retired last year after 31-1/2 years. She often spoke with much love of her cousins Morris and Nancy,Lola and Ed as well as her Mom, Rosebud, who I had the pleasure of meeting several years before she passed. I paid my respect to Pearl when her services were held at Brookins Funeral Home. I often thought of all of you when I would pass the Accounting Firm on 79th Street. Recently I made note to my husband that I did not see any activity there.

God bless you and comfort you at this time. Sincerely

William (Bill) Smith
