Momcilo Kozomara Obituary
Kozomara, Momcilo "Mike" 72, of Chicago, IL, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2004, he was born on October 28, 1932, in Kistanje, Yugoslavia. He lived in Chicago for 53 years, retiring after 31 years of service with the Department of Public Aid, County and State. He proudly served in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, N.C., dearest husband and best friend of Susan for 25 years. Devoted father of Zorka, Milica and Jack Vannucchi, of Raleigh, N.C., grandfather of Lisa and Eric, fond brother of Radivoj (Russaline) Cvjetnicanin of Cary, N.C., George (Milissa) Cvjetnicanin of Thousand Oaks, CA and Vidosava Chenich of Pasadena, CA, beloved uncle to numerous nieces and great-uncle to many grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Resting at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL. Visitation Friday, November 5th, 5 to 9 p.m., Pomen (wake service), 7:30 p.m., at chapel. Funeral services Saturday, November 6th, 9 a.m., at Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 5701 N. Redwood Dr., Chicago, IL, where he was an outstanding member for many years. I worked with Mr. Kozomara at the old GA Office at 25 S. Damen. I would see him always at break time working a crossword puzzle and sometimes he would talk about Yugoslavian history in which he was well versed. He was a very pleasant and intelligent man. I greatly enjoyed talking to him. My sincere condolences.
