The last entry was from my mother's dear, dear friend, Coleen Cummings Schneeman. My mother spoke often, and with deep affection for Coleen and all the adventures and stories they both shared together over their lifetime. xo

Mitzi and I had been friends for 55 years--ever since we were at Baker University and sorority sisters at the Phi Mu house. We fell out of touch during the years we were raising children, etc. but reconnected and had been in chose touch for the last 15 years or so. I visited her in Seattle. We had some good times--going to shows, dining out and roadtripping. She was a dear and loyal friend and I will miss her.

Meg and family, Although we did not know your mother, we know how much you loved and admired her. Your Guest Book note was a beautiful tribute to your mother. Although she is resting for eternity in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, may she remain in your heart as you recall fond memories of her (and the red cookie jar!)

I love you, cherish your memories and will always miss you Mom. I know you are no longer betrayed by your body and this comforts me greatly. I know you loved me, as you dearly and proudly loved Jeff, and most especially how you loved all your grandchildren, your nieces and nephews, and all your family. You missed your family and closest friends terribly, and I know what happened in your difficult struggles that prevented us from being together these last 3 years. You are and will always be the most amazing, brilliant, generous, funny, charming, effusive, strong, and loving model of grace, this daughter has ever or will ever need or know. You were everything and more than enough as a mother, a mentor, a woman, and a friend. God speed, and from home your gave me this world and your soul, you now return ever eternal, in me you live as Love itself, pure and beautiful, Divinely Perfect in God as One. Peace, Dearest Mom
