I am dearly sorry for the victims of the bridge collapse and their families. At Revelation 21:4 it says "He will will wipe out every tear from their eye and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more the former things have passed away." I am still very sorry for the victims and their families.

My heart has been heavy each and every moment since the tragedy of the bridge collapsing in your city. As so many have stated around me and on the news, the bridge collapse was shocking as it appeared to be a beautiful, dependable structure as so many of our bridges across America. Know that all people of our wonderful nation pray and think of you in your time of distress and loss of such wonderful family and friends. God Bless your entire community.

My name is Laura Martin and I am involved in a Bible education work. I want to extend my condolences to the friends and families of the victims. It breaks my heart to see this tragedy, as it does many others.Think though of how God feels about this tragedy as well. He does, however hold out a hope. Jesus taught that someday "all those in the memorial tombs" will be resurrected.(John 5:28)He and his father, Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) want to bring good people back to life. In this new life, the world will be peaceful (Psalms 37:10,11) and there will be no more pain (Revelation 21:3,4). How does that sound to you? No doubt we look forward to God fulfilling his promise. Its also faith strengthening to note that God cannot lie (Titus 1:2) So we can fully trust in him. I hope that this uplifts you and you can use these scriptures to stay strong and help others. If you would like to contact me, feel free. Take care.

I am very sorry to hear what happened my deepest condolences are with the families who are suffering right now. A scripture i like to think about is in john 5:28,29 where it speaks of a resurrection. How we all hope for the time when our suffering will be a thing of the past.

To the families, friends, and co-wokers: You have my sympathy during your time of grief. Ye shall be comforted by the Holy Spirit of Almighty God, Creater of heaven and earth, the sea and all therein. A great resurrection day is yet future when all those who sleep in Jesus will arise healed to receive eternal life.

The enemy of God, the Creator, takes many lives (putting them to sleep - Job 2:1-6), but Jesus defeated him and arose the third day (Matthew 28:1-7).

Scripture of comfort: I Thess 4:16-18, Eccl. 9:5-10, Rev. 20:4-6.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
