Miles Turner Obituary

Turner, Jr., Miles Wendell Of Chicago, born November 15, 1924, in Cincinnati, Ohio, died August 24, 2008, in Chicago. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Cooper), loving father of Miles Willis and Miles Wendell (Rochelle). Miles enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews who cherished his attention. His other passion was supporting and participating in the activities of the Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity, Inc. Miles was a diligent member of both the Chicago and Miami, Fl, chapters. Memorial Visitation Saturday, August 30th, 10 a.m., until the Celebration of Miles' Life at 11:30 a.m., at the Coppin Memorial AME Church, 5627-33 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Northlake, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the grandchildren's educational fund c/o Bernice Turner. All memorials are appreciated.
