Marsh III, Miles E. "Gene" age 76, formerly of Wheeling, West Virginia. Beloved husband of Diane, (nee Lach). Loving father of Miles "Gene" (Racquel) Marsh IV, Jennifer (Orlando De Guy) Marsh, David (Karen) Marsh, Katherine (Alston) Hall, Chris (Sue) Geisler, Michael Geisler, and Candice (Terry) McGuire. Dear grandfather of 12. Fond brother of Eleanor (Lee) Jacobs. Dear uncle of niece and nephews. Gene was a '55 graduate of Cornell University and a proud US Navy Veteran. Visitation Tuesday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday 10 a.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment private. My dad, Gene Marsh, was a unique and charismatic person. He was a faithful friend, a man of his word, and a true patriot. We all miss him terribly, and hope that he is at peace now.
