Dear Sherwin, Sheri, Arnie, Debbie & Families:
I saw the news about your mother earlier today, purely by accident. I was deeply upset . I remember your parents when I used to come to the "Sub." They were both really nice people. I ran into Boogums in April as I drove through South Haven on my way back from an honors reception at Western Michigan in Kalamazoo. It was the first time I had been back in 7 years. We talked about all of the people at the “Sub,” and the years just seemed to melt away. I could see everyone’s face and hear their voice in my mind. .
When I was young and hanging out at the “Sub,” I thought we would all live forever. Now, most of our parents are gone and we’re the older generation. How strange!
May your mother rest in peace alongside your father forever. My deepest sympathies to you all. May time heal your sorrow.
Kindest regards,
Fran Zeidman Rossi
