I cannot remember a time when I didn't know Mildred and Garfield. As a Kid I remember them at Lakeview, then Marshfield, and Northwest Church of Christ. They were Good Christian People, as well as Good Friends to My Family. Though I've lived out of state for 32 Years, each time I was in the City, and at Northwest Visiting Mildred made it a point to come up and say hello and give me a hug. My deepest heartfelt Sympathy to Her Family. We lost a Great Lady.

Mildred McCaslin was one of the most beautiful people in my world. She was open and loving, embracing everyone that came into her life with love, friendliness, acceptance and honesty. She was ultra feminine, yet extremely strong, setting a wondrful example for all of us - she always looked great regardless of the setting.

Mildred always had a kind word to say in every situation, never judging, always wise.

Although Mildred has left us, she leaves behind so many wonderful memories for those of us who were so fortunate to know her well that her presence will continue to be a part of our lives forever.

Mildred's legacy is a most beautiful family that was strongly influenced by her, and they are all thankfully a part of my life too.

As I say good bye to Mildred I know that she is in a most beautiful place, happy and at peace as she enjoys being welcomed to heaven. May her family take great comfort in this as they work through their loss. They are all in my prayers.

I was shocked to come in today and not see Mildred in bed! I really enjoyed her company and her southern accent! She was a lovely person and I will miss her.
Your family is in our prayers,
Kathleen (Ann O'Shea Daughter)

Mildred was a great light in our life. She showed up after my mother passed and filled a void for my children and I. She was so happy and cheerful each time when we picked her up for Church. We missed her from the time she couldnt come with us anymore. I know now she is happy, because she is finally back with Garfield, whom she loved and missed so much. We are sorry for your loss, know she is safe and at peace with our Dear Lord. You will be in our prayers. Love you.

My life was changed the summer I lived with Mildred and Garfield way back in 1980. She welcomed me into her home and her life and we've stayed friends all thru the years. I am sad for your loss of a great woman, but I rejoice with you as she gains her Heavenly reward and is reunited with her dear Garfield! My prayers are with you as you celebrate her well lived life and know that she blessed so many.
May God comfort you all and bless you.
