I never had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Miguel Cordero personally, but I did get to know of him through his daughter and granddaughter. He was loved. His family’s undying devotion throughout the last year of his life made that unmistakable. May Mr. Cordero rest in peace. I also hope that his family members find the peace they deserve in knowing that they were a good son, daughter, wife, and grandchild.

I did not know this man personally; I only knew his daughter. From knowing Martha...he must have been a wonderful man to raise such a beautiful, warm, wonderful daughter. I wish him peace and comfort and an end to his struggle. I wish the same for his family.

What can I say about my grandfather. I could say so many things. Things I wish I would have told him befoe he was gone. The one thing I am sure of is he knew how much I loved him because I did it with action and not just words. I suppose it is foolish to think we are some how eternal and will live forever. We don't always think about losing some one we love so much because it hurts so much and can seem too much to bare. He was a great man. One of the greatest human beings I will ever know. I did not know how much Iloved him until he was gone. He was kind, wise, and would deny me nothing. I could listen to him forever. I liked his stories even though I heard them many times. Its the way he told them that made them great. I wish I could hear his voice one more time. His laugh and his smile that could ight up a room. I had him for 26 years and I will forever be greatful I had him that long. He made me a better person for having him in my life. He never judged any one and would welcome any one into his home with open arms. While it is hard right now to fathom life with out him I know he will forever be in my heart and in my memories. I hope there is a heaven that we all go to and will be together again. Until we meet again abuelito I love you. I hope you have found the peace and rest that you so needed. God Bless you.

Don Miguel,
