Michael Slattery Obituary

Mike, Kathryn, Mary Beth and Chris: your cousin Lori sends her love and condolences. Your dad meant a lot to me when I was growing up. Uncle Mike always made me laugh and went out of his way to make me feel special even though I thought I was just a dorky kid. I feel blessed to be part of your family. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I think I was blessed with the best dad in the world. He meant so much to me and my family. even though he is gone I still feel his presence like he is looking after me. I love and admire him very, very much and we will miss him. I miss his sense of humor and generosity to others. I could talk to him about anything without hestitation. I know his good-willed values will live on through my family and friends. I love you dad

Gosh, Mike and his family lived across the street from us as we grew up. It was as if we were related. When I saw him last year at the funerals of my Mom & sister-in-law, it was so great to sit and talk after all these years. I am so sad and I am sorry for all of you as I know only too well how the losses of our loved ones are so hard to endure. My condolences to Mike's family. I have fond memories of Mike from our school days at St. Felicitas. Though he may be gone from this world he remains in our hearts and prayers.

I'm going to miss Mike very much. I worked with him for years at Corporate Concepts. He was always someone you could count on, and was always helpful, fair, kind and pleasant...the best in the business!

Our family has gotton to know Chris Slattery through our daughter and the many friends Chris has in the senior class of 2002 for Neuqua. We notice the kids feel real compassion for Chris and his family and we would like to let you know our thoughts and prayers are with you always too. Recently these students have come closer together finding a good group of friends that seems to be centered around a funny, serious, and easy going kid named Chris. Mike was a very special person and will be missed by all. He was a friend to everyone. I will mostly remember that Irish smile he wore on his face. He taught us all to look at the bright side of life. We feel fortunate to have crossed his path here on earth and look forward to meeting with him again in another place. God Bless You Mike!
