Mike (Roundo) Rice was very special. Truly kind and helpful when I was new to airCal in Orange County in 1974. He was really fun to work with as well, and I've not forgotten him. I am sorry for his passing and wish all who miss him some comfort.

Mike was a wonderful guy who would do anything for a friend. We became good friends when he transferred to American Airlines Chicago from San Diego. We were on the same page in politics, football and food. He loved all the cookies my wife made from scratch. He had invited my wife, son and I to his home, for a wonderful afternoon. I'm grateful to have known him, and to be his friend. God Bless You Mike. You will be missed. Your Buddy, Rick Schneider.

What a marvelous friend. We met in college and I've never had a friend like Michael since. He was so funny and so sensitive. I'll miss him terribly. God bless you Michael. You'll always be in thoughts and prayers.

Michael was my cousin, and he was such a kind person with a good heart. When he was living in San Diego, we used to get together for lunch every few months. He loved to talk about football and would tell funny stories about work. We are all going to miss him.
