Babe,
I really can't express how much I miss you and love you. There will be a hole in my heart everyday that I'm not with you. I lost my partner my best friend my everything!!! But one day we will be TOGETHER AGAIN!!!

Uncle Mike, it truly saddens me to even be on here leaving a message. You are missed and loved.

If there was every a time to be envious of the angels it's right now. Michael Phillips was a gift to everyone that ever met him. There is not a person that can't tell you a hundred stories where he left his mark on our lives. Hands down the funniest, wittiest man I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He was such an amazing Father. I don't know if I have ever seen a man more generous with his love and support of his children as him. They were adored, and he never let a chance go by for them to think they were not. Michael looked at his children every day as if it was the day they were born. As a Son there is not a Mother or Father in the world that could hope for a child to be half the man that Michael was. He was truly the heart of the Phillips family. From the youngest to the oldest every time he arrived he lit up every eye in the room. He leaves a legacy of laughter, love, generosity, exuberance, and admiration to anyone that ever met him. For the short life he lived, he made a point to live everyday of it to the fullest surrounded by the people that he loved. I can't tell you how privileged I feel to have been apart of the hundreds of thousands that were lucky enough to meet him. The one and only thing I am sure of besides the fact that he was taken from those he loved far too soon; is that he will never ever be forgotten. He is in the faces of his children. He is in the hearts and souls of his brothers and sisters. He is in so many memories of his friends and family that in our darkest hour, Michael Phillips will today and forever be able to put a smile on our faces. We will all mourn this tragic loss. However we are all incredibly blessed to have been able to say we knew the man that made goodbye the hardest word in the world. My deepest sympathies to the entire Phillips family and friends. We lost the best, but he left everyone of us with the certainty that he never will leave our hearts.

No child had a better parent. This is a great tribute to you, Mr. & Mrs. Phillips, for you raised the greatest human being I have even known. Throughout life a person meets very few people that are special to them, having a lasting place in their hearts. From the very first time we met you were one of those people. We shared great times together. The blue chair, our getaway to Peoria, the neighborhood dinner cruise on the lake the list goes on and on. True friends are few and far between, you were one and for that we're grateful.
