Parisi, Michael suddenly, a long-time resident of Park Ridge, age 76, born in Bitritto, (Bari), Italy. Beloved husband of Carmela (nee Mariella), loving father of Madeline (Alberto) D'Alesio, Maria (Michael) Kariotis, Berardino (Lisa) and Marcella (Jason) Haubner, best "Poppy" to Alexandra, Katrina, Dominick, Julia, Lucas, Michael, Liliana, Gabriel, Juliana and Mariella, dearest brother of Frank (Mary), Nunzio (Frances), the late Joseph and the late Angelo, fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dedicated Attorney at Law, 1959 graduate of DePaul University Law School. Member of The Justinian Society and Society of Santa Maria of Constantinople, Former President of the Italian Catholic Federation, Korean War Veteran. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to American Diabetes Association, 30 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 2015, Chicago, IL, 60602. Funeral Thursday, 9 a.m. from Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 8025 W. Golf Rd., Niles, to St. Paul of the Cross Mass 10 a.m. Entombment All Saints Mausoleum. Dear Carmella and Family,
I was very sorry to see the notice of Michael's death but even more sorry that I could not attend the services. I have prayed for him, remembering all the wonderful service he gave to the ICF and the great love he had for the church. May our gracious Lord console you with the same hope of the Resurrection!

Dear Carmela,
Our thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.This seems so unfair, there was no warning and no time to say goodbye. We knew Mike as a faithful and loving husband, a friend, a proud father, grandfather, uncle and someone who practiced their profession with pride and ethics second to none. And even with all his responsibilities to all who loved him, he always had time to be a loyal friend, and an advocate to the families and friends from the Bitritto region he loved. He always remembered where he came from and always had a story to tell. He was not just an ordinary man, but a humble and extraordinary man we have been fortunate to know. Traveling from Northern Wisconsin, we always looked forward to seeing Mike at family gatherings and celebrations. His passing will leave a void. He will be missed.
