Mike, Sr.
I am deeply sorry to hear about Michael's passing, Joanie wrote me just today and let me know. Please know you are in my prayers and thoughts and I am always just a call away if needed.

My deepest condolences to the O'Hara family. I just recently found out about Mike's death and I'm very sorry that I missed the service.
I worked with Mike at Jewel back when he was in high school and he was a great person with a personality that brought out the best in those around him.
I was fortunate enough to run into him from time to time long after we both ended our time at the store and it was always reassuring to know that people like Mike were still out there.
It breaks my heart to know he's gone.
I will keep the O'Hara family in my thoughts.

I did not know Mike very well, but through my cousin Brian I met him a few times and made his acquaintence.

Because of his exceptional kindness and his great personality, he had the rare gift of resonating with you long after you first met him. He will be missed.

I realized that you were right by dad at All Saint and You will never get away from us Griffin's. I think of you often and your family as I know the pain of loosing people you care about so much. When I lost my brother-in-law I thought I would never have to deal with a death of a friend at such a young age again. I was wrong, I miss knowing that I will never see you again. May you know your family is always in my hearts, and I will never forget how you told me how much you loved Hillary. Let them all find peace Mike and may you rest in peace.

Mike came to my office for physical therapy. We saw him and heard his great stories many times over the past years. He would always come in and tell us a story about family or friends. I fell like I know all of you and Hillary, he loved you all so much. Please except my sympathy. I can't imagine your pain but it makes me feel better to know we all have him as a angel watching over all of us.

My heart goes out to Michael's family and friends. I have a picture of Mike & I in Irish dancing class back when we were 10yrs old that makes me smile when I look at it. After not seeing each other for nearly 10yrs after that picture was taken, he still remembered my name and greeted me with a big hug when we ran into each other one day. He was such a genuinely kind and wonderful individual who touched the hearts of everyone he met.

St. Thecla's class of 1992 graduated with only a handful of students, so Mike was such a central part of that experience for me and I'm sure for our classmates as well. He made all of us laugh on a daily basis and brought joy to our lives. And I'm so proud that he went on to give back to St. Thecla by coaching the widgets football team. His dedication to the kids he coached is an example of his strong character and I admire him for making that commitment to our St. Thecla family.

Mike was a fun-loving, caring, and all-around great person. He will truly be missed...

I'm sorry for all the times I got you in trouble in Mrs. Fischer's class for laughing and for the brow beating we got from Fr. Rogala for goofin' off while we were altar servers.

No matter where life takes me, I will always look upon you and your family as a legendary part of our glorious childhood.

Your enormous heart, purity of soul, strength and resolve have left an indelible mark on me. In our community, you and your family will always be known for your abundant love, resilience and courage.

I wish so much that I can take away the pain that you are all feeling, but I know this is impossible. I hope that the knowledge that we all share your pain eases the burden of your pain. I feel that I have lost a nephew. I have watched as each of you have grown up and know that your mother would be so proud of each of you. It is comforting to know that she was there for Michael. I will remember him with his warm smile and I will also remember him growing up with a short reddish hair and his cute little red cheeks. It doesn’t really matter how old he was I always have looked at him as that cute little boy. I used to watch Michael coaching at the school during practice. I shared with him that as the kids rounded the corner on Devon they would stop running and begin walking. Michael told me not to worry because he was timing them and by the end of the season they would be running again. Michael is beginning a new season on a different team and I know he is loved on his new team as much as he is loved by all who knew him here. Hillary, I only just met you but can see why Michael loved you. I am so sorry that you didn’t get to spend more time with him but hope the thought of the time you did spend together will comfort you.
Michael is now watching over us all and I can see his bright smile and hear his voice ringing out “Marco ….Polo”.

I don't know what to say. I am shocked and deeply saddened and my heart goes out to all of you. Mike O'Hara was my beloved friend and schoolmate who went on to become a valued member of the community. His big personality and big heart touched everyone he came in contact with. The loss of someone so special will be felt for a lifetime. He was one in a million, and so was his smiling face. The words I'm sorry are just not enough.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mike was my very close and dear friend and I am devastated by his death. I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. He brought more happiness into this world in thirty years than most people will be able to do in a lifetime. He put an instant smile on everyone's face when he walked into a room. He was larger than life and because of that there is a gaping hole in my heart where he resided. I will be in mourning over my friend for the rest of my life. I mourn for you and I mourn for anyone who never got a chance to meet the most lovable person to walk this earth.
