My deepest sympathies to you Michael's family. I knew Mike from eating at Sammy's Kitchen and he was such enjoyable company. I felt bad for him concerning the health issues he was battling but he was always a happy person when I would see him. May the Angels lead him into paradise, may the martyrs come to welcome him and take him to the holy city the new and eternal Jerusalem.

My sincere Condolences on the loss of Mike. I first met Mike in a stroller as a little boy being pushed by his mom. As an adult he still stopped by for a sandwich one for him the other for his family dog..he laughed and said it was his treat. We had many a conversations over the years. Mike was a fun loving person, I'm sure he will be missed.

When we moved to our first home on 57th St., a 15 year old boy came to my car and asked if he could help me with my groceries...from that day until a few years ago, Mike was always a big help to us..taking care of the lawn and shoveling the snow or just dropping by for a quick visit to see how we were doing. Even when he couldn't do it any more, he found some one for us...Mike cared about people and gave of himself constantly. Phoned him many times and no matter how sick he was, he always was concerned about us. He will be missed and was loved by so many. Jim, Jeff, Jimmy and families, you have our deepest sympathy. Cherish the memories of this wonderful man.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. One day very soon Michael will return to the days of his youthful vigor as promised at Job 33:25. Until this beautiful promise is fulfilled by our heavenly Father, may you continue to be comforted by your most precious memories of him.

To the Nicholson family my deepest sympathy. Mike and I were co-workers at BMO Harris for many years. He was the kindest and most caring person I've known with a heart of gold. May God hold him in his arms and may he play bingo with the angels in heaven. He was our Santa Claus.

My deepest sympathies on your loss. I went to Marist with Mike and remember him well. Although we didn't share many classes, I remember eating a quick breakfast of a donut with him before classes and joining him at lunch. We both lived off Pulaski Rd and I think on met him riding the CTA to school. I lost touch with him after graduation and was shocked when I received notice from the Marist community relations. Too young to pass! Rest in peace with our Lord

Mickey, you will be missed. I'm popping my gum today in your memory. We started at the bank around the same time with a group of a few others. We learned and grew together. We watched each others families grow, we shared in our joys and sorrows and rejoiced in accomplishments. Thank you for being Santa to so many, (I have a photo of Santa and my girls) your joy in making them happy shone through your interactions with them. We had each others backs and stood together through thick and thin. You and Pete brought me back into "the family" all those years ago. Enjoy your final sleigh ride Santa. Merry Christmas one last time. Rest in Peace my friend.

Mike, or as I fondly referred to him as Big Nick was a kind soul. He always was laughing and had such a good outlook on life. I loved listening to him as he shared his thoughts and opinions on current events. He was a big White Sox fan and loved to go the the boats and try his luck. Mike and I met in high school and have remained friends ever since. I am sure going to miss you Nick but now you are in a better place. No more suffering. I know you will watch over all of us. Godspeed my friend.

Mike and I worked together for many decades. He was one of my managers at Harris Bank. I could say we were a team just like Laurel and Hardy. Mike was the silent type and I had a explosive side. We remained closed friends even after our employment. We spoke with each other every week. Never missed a week for 14 years. Rest in Peace Mike...until we meet again.

To say that Mike will be missed is an understatement. Service and care were just a few of the gifts that Mike gave to the parish of St. Turibius. Deepest sympathy to Mikes father, brothers and family at this time of sorrow. Mike will be remembered as a true legend.

Mike was one of the most caring, generous, and hard working persons I ever met. His heart was always with St. Turibius. I am sure we have another angel in heaven.
