although i never new mike personally, whe was good friends with my sister. from what i have been told, he was a great young man with enough courage for everyone. may god bless mike and his family. my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Near shady wall a rose once grew. Budded and blossomed in God's free light, watered and fed by morning dew, shedding it's sweetness day and night.



As it grew and blossomed fair and tall, slowly rising to loftier height, it came to a crevice in the wall, through which there shone a beam of light.



Onward it crept with added strength, with never a thought of fear or pridde; it followed the light through the crevice length, and unfolded itself on the other side.



The light, the dew, the broadening view, were found the same as they were before; and it lost itself in beauties new. Breathing its fragrance more and more.



Shall claim of death cause us to greive, and make our courage faint or fall? Nay, let us faith and hope receive; The rose still grows beyond the wall.



Scattering frangrance far and wide, just as it did in days of yore, just as it did on the other side, Just as it will forevermore.

My deepest sympathy to you. No one can understand the pain in your heart or the sorrow in your eyes, unless they have been in similar shoes. I lost my oldest son nearly 7 years ago. All you can do now is hang on to precious memories. My son died of AIDs and fought a very couragoues battle and taught me so very much. I am sure your young son did also. Live for only today.Some day we will all be together and until that time just remember you did all you could.Memories and love will see you thru this stepping stone to the beautiful reunion in Heaven.
