Michael Kosteczko Obituary
Age 76, late of Orland Park, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 14, 2020. Born in France, moving to the United States at the age of 12, living in Chicago and a resident of Orland Park since 1991. A United States Vietnam Army Veteran, proudly receiving a Bronze Star. Employed by Oak Park Bank for many dedicated years retiring in 2009. Member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palos Park, IL. Preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Paraskevia (Lezczynski) Kosteczko. Survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Denise (Kamely) Kosteczko; stepson, Eddy (Margarita) Camalieri. Services will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9 th St., Lockport, IL., 60441 at 9:45am proceeding to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Palos Park, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Inurnment will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery privately with only his immediate family in attendance. Visitation Sunday, December 20, 2020 in the funeral home chapel from 12:00noon until 3:00pm. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.oneilfuneralhome.com. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing practices are required inside the funeral home and a limited capacity will be allowed at one time. Arrangements under the care and direction of O'Neil Funeral Home, Lockport.
