To Mike's kids, Larry, Mike and Cathy--I want to extend my condolences upon your father's passing away. Mike was a good friend of mine over the years, and I always found him to be kind and generous when others were in need. I am sure he is happy in heaven with your mother. I am sorry about not being at the funeral. Unfortunately, I heard the sad news after your father's funeral. He will be in my prayers. Sincerely,

Dear, Larry,Mike and Catherine,

First, on behalf of my family,I would like to extend our condolences and prayers to you and your family. Michael left an impression of honor and integrity on those who had the pleasure to know him. Though I had only met him several times, my father worked at Oak Forest Hospital and was proud to call him a friend. I do know he loved participating in the wedding in Ireland recently and that he was proud of his family. May he and Mona smile a blessing down upon his clan!

Dear Larry, Mike and Cathy,

When I think about growing up and my fond memories of 79th and Troy Street, my most favorite adults were your folks. Your Mom and Dad were so good to me and always had a big smile when I would stop by. They were always so interested in what the Callahans were doing and you always left the Hickey household feeling so good.

All of the Callahans are so sorry about your Dad. Your Dad was a wonderful, funny, caring person and a terrific Grandpa, too, and now he and your dear Mom can be together again. We always exchanged Christmas cards and after your Mom died, he always took the time to write me a nice note letting me know how he was doing and what was going on with the family.

That image of your handsome Dad( he had the best looking hair) and your lovely Mom, beaming and so proud on their 50th anniversary will always be the image that I will think about when I remember them.

Please know that all of you will be in our fondest thoughts and sincerest prayers.

Love,

Jane, Barb, Bob and Maribeth Callahan
