Michael Hennessy Obituary

Mike,
It broke our hearts when the Lord called you home, but we knew it was time. I was very blessed to have you as a father-in-law. You are now at rest. We will miss you.

What I will miss most about Uncle Mike is his bright smile. Whenever I saw him he would make me feel so special that he remembered what was happeneing in my life and offer that warm smile. I so wish I could be there for my family. You will be very missed Uncle Mike.

Mike, I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. I will always remember the good times I shared with your family. Because of your father, I got on at the CCH fire dept which was something I really enjoyed.

To Mike's Family:
I am sorry for your loss, I remember fondly Mike's smile and laughter when he came to help Mom and Dad! He always had a story to tell! Now he is free of his pain and don't you know there is one heck of a Hennessy Reunion going on now!! Our prayers are with you!

Mike was a great guy and will be missed a lot. His suffering is over and he is now in a much better place; where the beer is free and friends are always near.My condolences to his family and friends. God Bless

Dear Mike and the Hennessy Family - We were so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. He was truly a good guy and will be missed by all who knew him.

May he be walking into his new "local" and enjoying a few drinks and lots of laughs in heaven.

Not only was I one of Mike's bartenders' at the Blarney Stone, he was a friend. I will miss the many conversations and stories we shared. Mike was very involved in community activity and he truly cared about the people around him. He will be greatly missed. This Guinness is for you Mike! I will miss you.

Mike Hennessy was a great friend and kind to everyone. He had an outstanding personality and a wonderful "gift of gab". He came from a strong, supportive family and was a credit to the Hennessy name.

Those of us from the St. Margaret of Scotland grammar school class of 1956 are proud to have shared part of his life.

God Bless you Mike. Your good nature and positive attitude made you someone who I always looked forward to having a beer with at the Blarney Stone!

What I loved most about Uncle Mike was that he made it to just about every celebration, no matter how large or small. He shared stories and showed pride in family, morals, and doing what he could to make everyone feel a bit happier. Family get-togethers won't be the same without Uncle Mike!

On behalf of the St. Margaret's class of 1956, our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike's family. We were so happy to see him at our 45th reunion.

Mike, you were indeed, a great friend to all of us. It was an honor just to have known you for all these years. I know you will rest in peace for all the good you have done in your lifetime.
